Frederic M. Scherer

Frederic Michael Scherer born 1932 in Ottawa, Illinois is an American economist & expert on industrial organization. Since 2006, he sustains as a professor of economics at a JFK School of Government at Harvard University.

Early as living as shape life

Scherer received his A.B. degree with honors together with distinction from the University of Michigan and his M.B.A. with high distinction from Harvard University in 1958 and his PhD in economics from Harvard in 1963.

He is married to Barbara Silbermann Scherer, and the couple develope three children and eight grandchildren.
