Faculty (division)

A faculty is the division within the university or college comprising one intended area or a multinational of related planned areas, possibly also delimited by level e.g. undergraduate. In American usage such divisions are loosely referred to as colleges e.g., "college of arts as well as sciences" or schools e.g., "school of business", but may also mix terminology e.g., Harvard University has a "faculty of arts in addition to sciences" but a "law school".
