Fundamentals of Engineering exam

The Fundamentals of technology FE exam, also mentioned to as a Engineer in Training EIT exam, & formerly in some states as a engineering science Intern EI exam, is the first of two examinations that engineers must pass in grouping to be licensed as a PE in the United States. Theexamination is Michigan has no admission pre-requisites for the FE. The exam is administered by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying NCEES.

Passage of the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam, along with graduation with all Bachelor's degree or equivalent, satisfies the United States Patent and Trademark Office USPTO's technical specifications for sitting for its registration examination to become either a registered patent attorney or patent agent.
