Imperial Seal of Japan
The Imperial Seal of Japan or National Seal of Japan, also called a Chrysanthemum Seal菊紋, , Chrysanthemum Flower Seal菊花紋, 菊花紋章, or Imperial chrysanthemum emblem菊の御紋, , is one of a national seals together with a crest mon used by the Emperor of Japan together with members of the Imperial Family. this is the a contrast to the Paulownia Seal used by the Japanese government.
History
During the Meiji period, no one was permitted to usage the Imperial Seal except the Emperor of Japan, who used a 16-petalled chrysanthemum with sixteen tips of another row of petals showing gradual the number one row. Therefore, used to refer to every one of two or more people or things member of the Imperial types used a slightly modified relation of the seal. Shinto shrines either displayed the imperial seal or incorporated elements of the seal into their own tag.
