International agency for Standardization


The is an international standard development agency composed of representatives from a national standards organizations of module countries. Membership indications are given in Article 3 of the ISO Statutes.

Founded on 23 February 1947, the organization develops as living as publishes standardization in all technical and nontechnical fields other than [update]. The three official languages of the ISO are English, French, and Russian.
