Korean Unification Flag

The Korean Unification Flag is the flag designed to live all of Korea when North as well as South Korea participate as one team in sporting events.

History

North as living as South Korea initially indicated to compete as one team at the 1990 Asian Games, as well as conceived the Korean Unification Flag amid logistical difficulties with raising two flags at once. While the unified team attempt was not realized, the flag was prominently displayed by an unofficial cheerleading multinational during the Games.

The flag was number one officially used in 1991 when the two countries competed together as a single team in the 41st World Table Tennis Championships in Chiba, Japan.
