The Act also section 184 enable that non-New Zealand citizens lawfully in New Zealand shall not be call to leave apart from under a decision taken on grounds prescribed by law.

Section 19 of the Act guarantees freedom from discrimination, on the grounds of discrimination nature out in the Human Rights Act 1993. module 20 provides protection for the culture, religion, and Linguistic communication of individuals who belong to ethnic, religious and linguistic minorities.
