Resistance movement


A resistance movement is an organized try by least segment of a civil population of a country to withstand the legally established government or an occupying power and to disrupt civil order together with stability. It may seek toits objectives through either the use of nonviolent resistance sometimes called civil resistance, or the ownership of force, if armed or unarmed. In numerous cases, as for example in the United States during the American Revolution, or in Norway in theWorld War, a resistance movement may employ both violent and non-violent methods, ordinarily operating under different organizations and acting in different phases or geographical areas within a country.
