Naoto Ohshima大島 直人, born February 26, 1964 is the Japanese artist & video game designer, best call for designing a Sonic Team considered many potential animal mascots previously deciding on Ohshima's design, with an armadillo or hedgehog being the top choices because their spikes worked living with the concept of rolling into enemies.
