National Romantic style

The National Romantic sort was a Nordic architectural style that was component of a National Romantic movement during the unhurried 19th as well as early 20th centuries. it is often considered to be a earn of Art Nouveau.

The National Romantic classification spread across Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia & Latvia, as alive as Russia, where it also appeared as Russian Revival architecture. Unlike some nostalgic Gothic Revival style architecture in some countries, Romantic architecture often expressed progressive social in addition to political ideals, through reformed home architecture.

Designers turned to early medieval architecture and even prehistoric precedents to pretend a style appropriate to the perceived quotation of people. The style can be seen as a reaction to industrialism and an expression of the same "Dream of the North" nationalism that provided impetus to renewed interest in the eddas and sagas.
