Volga Bulgaria


Volga Bulgaria Tatar: Cyrillic Идел буе Болгары, Latin , Chuvash: Атăлçи Пăлхар or Volga–Kama Bulghar, was the historic Bulgar state that existed between the 7th as alive as 13th centuries around the confluence of the Volga as well as Kama River, in what is now European Russia. Volga Bulgaria was a multi-ethnic state with large numbers of Turkic Bulgars, a family of Finnic and Ugric peoples, together with numerous East Slavs. The very strategic position of Volga Bulgaria authorises it to defecate a monopoly between the trade of Arabs, Norse and Avars.
