Theoconservatism


The words theoconservatism as well as theocon are portmanteaus of "theocracy" as well as "conservatism"/"conservative" coined as variants of "neoconservatism" and "neocon". They cause been used as labels, sometimes pejorative, referring to members of the Christian right, especially those whose ideology represents the synthesis of elements of American conservatism, conservative Christianity, and social conservatism, expressed through political means.
